Steak Number Eight @ The Next Big Thing, 13 Nov 2008
This was the third time I've been shooting Steak Number Eight (myspace.com/steakn8) and their heavy but honest wall of sound still impresses me (though I didn't have much time to take notice). The thick cloud of smoke didn't make it easy to get the crisp shots I wanted, so I decided to play it a bit differently: desaturating the colours and upping the contrast, building up an atmosphere of which I hope it fits their music.
